Part of the annual JSPC Championship events, the Bobber and Surrenden competitions are modified versions to attract all club members.
As it turned out, the usual suspects attended with the majority of members shunning competitions designed for them.
Which is a real pity as these competitions provide much enjoyment for those taking part.
Both competitions tested the shooters ability to balance speed with accuracy.
The Bobber consisted of 10 shots in two strings of 5.
One shot per 3 second exposure, with a 3 second away time, from 15 metres.
The Surrenden consisted also of 10 shots in 2 string of 5, again from 15 metres.
A shot timer was used, the total time taken is subtracted from your total score, to give your grand total.
Norman was in good form, certainly enough to win all the events, closely chased by Chris, also in peak form.
Well done to all the members who attended. It really was good fun.
