Scotland Gallery Rifle and Pistol Championship was held at JSPC home range at Colmsliehill over the weekend 4-6th July 2025.
Many thanks to Scott Lyon and Jonny Cormie who organised the event, and to the many JSPC and other clubs; Aberdeen and Dundee, members who assisted. Special mention to Ian Burton who as well as competing over three days, spent time in the cabin completing the stats.
Competitors were mainly from Scotland, but we were pleased to see some familiar faces from Northumberland and a new visitor Ian Cox from Derby Club. Always good to welcome new guests.
The weather was variable as usual, with Saturday a particularly testing day with strong gusts but thankfully the rain held off for most of the weekend.
The standard of shooting was incredibly high with at least four GB squad members keeping the pressure on each other and raising the challenge to all competitors.
