(Thanks to Phil from Derby for his aid with the camera. Congratulations to Phil on his 120 in MTSB!)

My brief spell at the prize award ceremony named Norman Veitch on several occasions with top medals for his winning performances. It is my belief that all JSPC members who attended came home with at least one medal for their efforts. Very well done to all as we were competing against the very best in the UK.
Colin has colated the results of the squad and this is what he says:
we took 23 Gold, 22 Silver, 7 Bronze. JSPC members took 14 of the Golds. 10 of the Silvers and 5 of the Bronzes.
The Squad won 3 of the Short range Championships – 2 of them by Norman – and 2 British Champions – Norman and Chris !!
It is worth mentioning again the historical inclusion of the three generations of Tonners who attended and were included in the Scotland teams.
OTHER COMPETENT BUSINESS:
Greg Rastall was announced as the overall GR winner of the Scotland Gallery Rifle Championship held earlier in the year (see separate post). Well done Greg, winning both 1500SB and 1500CF at Aberdeen in atrocious conditions.
Robert J Tonner was announced as the overall Pistol winner.
Robert J Tonner was also welcomed as the new Scotland Gallery Rifle Captain by Jonny Cormie, the outgoing captain, having served his two year stint.
Congratulations to RJT who we hope will lead Scotland to victory during his two years as captain!
