Phoenix 2013 Results Corrections. A letter from the NRA.

The Phoenix Meeting 2013

There are a few after meeting scorecard issues which are still being put right and will be resolved very soon.  One of these was the error in the reporting of the International Timed & Precision One and Multi Target Aggregate team match results.

At the time of the prize giving the error had not been discovered so the Scottish team members were not able to bask in the glory of doing the double.  (They won both the Centre Fire and Small Bore matches.)

When you realise what has gone into achieving this level of team performance it is all the more worthy of note.  Scotland is a big country and the round trip times for some of the squad members for training days are substantial.  This also means that the other countries are going to have to raise their game if there is not to be another whitewash next year!

I am now able to let you have details of the new records achieved at the meeting this year.  I know they are on the gallery rifle website but you deserve a special mention. Congratulations to all of you and to Clive Ferguson and Gwyn Roberts whose scores are also new British records.
