Timed and Preciaion 2 was the final competition in the club championship event table for 2012.
It was a fine but cold day but that was not enough to attract the majority of the members who seem to avoid competition days which as I have said before, is a SHAME. (The championship results are from a membership of about sixty members).
The committee work hard to prepare a calender for the year and with the support of a small band of very willing helpers, make up target boards, purchase targets, etc, etc, and it would be good to see more members turning out for what are very much fun shooting days.
We were very pleased to see our member from Aberdeen who had a 5.00am start to collect another shooter from Dundee. We do appreciate their efforts and I hope they were duely rewarded by a full day of fun.
Jon Cormie from Dundee put in a very fine score in smallbore dropping only three points while Robert Tonner (Snr) dropped only four points in fullbore. That is despite my 50% reduced targets to simulate 50 metre stages. Well done both of you.
Enough said, here are the results of the TP2 and also the overall results for 2012 which saw another fine win for Robert J Tonner who has been in top form this year. We wish him well and a full and rapid recovery in his surgical operation this week.
