Jack Cruickshank Memorial Trophy

On Sunday 24th June 2012, thirteen members attended the event.

Poor turnout partially resulted from a guest day held by Vintage Arms at Castlelaw.

The weather held back and allowed the competition to be completed before the heavens opened in the afternoon, but it was not the fine summer’s day that we hoped for.

The previous winner RJ Tonner had very bad luck with his ammunition and was unable to complete the competition. However, with a bit of persuasion his father Robert completed the course using ammunition from Colin and produced the winning scores.

Well done Robert (Senior) and RJT, we were sorry to see you suffer.

Thanks yet again to Colin for his organisation, planning and running around. Without him, these competitions would not happen.
