SCOTTISH PISTOL ASSOCIATION, COLMSLIEHILL SERIES 2012

Sunday 6th May saw the first of five of the SPA Colmsliehill 2012 series.

Due to a lack of communication, turnout was poor compared to usual, but those that did compete had a huge choice of competitions which now include combat disciplines (“Service” or Multi Target and “Police” as TP1 was formerly known) for Long Barrelled Pistols and Revolvers.

So all owners of these “shooting instruments” (I avoid the use of the term “weapon”) now have no excuse for lack of competitions.

Jack Aitken and his merry band took us through the day, even during the snowstorm in late afternoon.

Tam turned out as usual to feed all the hungry attendees with bacon rolls, black pudding rolls, hot pasties (no VAT), tea and coffee.
