A fantastic weekend was enjoyed by everyone, especially with the Scottish weather being very kind to us for a change. All those attending were treated to wonderful catering courtesy of Ian Burton and Alan Mitchell, including bacon rolls, burgers and an assortment of Scottish pies, biscuits and softdrinks.
WE are very privileged to attract competitors from all over the UK; travelling from Dorset, Cumbria, Northumberland and Aberdeenshire, bringing with them the talents of the best shooters in the country.
Our thanks to the members who attended to support the club and providing staffing support without which the event would not happen. Deserving special mention are: Stuart Russell, Ian Burton, Dave Nicoll, Chris Douglas, Phil Johnston, Bill Pow, John Paterson, Howard Marshall, Doug Green, Alan Mitchell and of course our Dorset range officer Sara Berry!
Competitor scoring helped the competitions to run smoothly which allowed time for tea breaks and lunch breaks. Ian Burton in stats did a fine job and provided the results within minutes of the final shot on Sunday. One challenge has been received within the allotted time and accepted.
