Three generations of Robert Tonners descended on Bisley for AAW 2015
A hardy group of six JSPC members travelled to Bisley for AAW 2015, including Robert L on his first venture to the Disneyland of shooting in the UK. Here is an email from Colin, our Chairman:
What a great result to finish the season ! Eighteen Gold, Twelve Silver and Two Bronze. Nobody came home empty handed. The small group – Robert Tonner, Leslie Kong. Robert J Tonner, Chris McLean, Robert L Tonner, Bill Pow and Norman Veitch – did us proud. Of course we’ve got used to the ‘usual suspects’ bringing home the loot but there must be a special mention for the youngest Tonner. On his first visit to Bisley Robert L took 5 medals :- 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze !! Some long established shooters are going to have to look over their shoulders in future

I do not think there will be any stopping youngest Robert now.
To all those who have not made a trip South, Mattersey and Derby hold some very enjoyable weekends and much cheaper than Bisley, apart from the shorter distances.
Thanks much to Norman for transporting me to the AAW, as having returned from Dorset just a week or so ago, I was not fit nor composed to tackle that route again so soon.
