A Huge vote of thanks is due to David who has put a lot of effort and time into producing results in record time. David also took on the tasks of assembling all the entries AND arranging the squadding over the weekend
The results here (in pdf format) have not not been challenged and are now final.
Thanks also to all the JSPC members who gave up their weekend, some of whom travelled from Gateshead on three days, so that the event was able to run smoothly and in a very professional manner.
Of course Tam, our chef, was a popular figure and essential in keeping up the Kilocalories for guests and members.
Importantly, thanks to all the competitors travelling from all parts of Scotland and England, and I hope that everyone enjoyed the weekend as much as I did. A few new faces was a welcome boost to the JSPC shooting scene, and I hope that there are no objections to the photos I publish. If so, please let me know via the jspc mailing address..
I have only included one photo of each prize winner on Sunday, those who attended only on Saturday are not included for obvious reasons as the awards were held on Sunday evening.
All correspondence should be sent to the JSPC email address: jspc_uk@outlook.com
AGGREGATE TROPHY RESULTS.
GALLERY RIFLE SPRING TROPHY: JONNY CORMIE
LONG BARREL SPRING TROPHY: DAVE GREEN
By strange coincidence (??) these were returned by these same competitors from last year 2014.
Congratulations to both of you.
It was a weekend full of jams and misfires but at least the weather stayed mostly fine with some warm sunny spells even.
We had 252 competition entries this time — last September 2014 we had 191. That is a huge increase and even so we had some spare time in the middle of the day thanks to organisation and assistance.
It has been suggested that we run a 1020, perhaps one detail on each day, as a “fun shoot”.
We could accomodate 10 shooters on the line. Suggestions please?
My apologies for any omissions or errors. It has been a long weekend.
