Jack Cruickshank Trophy 2011

The Jack Cruickshank Trophy competition was held on 19th June 2011.

Thanks to yet a lot more effort by Colin in arranging this day, 16 contestants took part in this significant memorial competition.

Jack was one of the Founder Members of the JSPC in the 1960’s and remained as Chairman till the 1997 handgun ban forced the then committee to stand down en masse.

He was an inspiration to all club members and encouraged everyone to partake in both club competitions and workdays to improve the standing of the club.

The Jack Cruicksahnk Trophy is shot once a year and includes a variation of “Police Pistol” and “Service Pistol” using large calibre Lever Action Rifles.

The club encourages ALL members with such a rifle to join in.
