Today welcomed the start of the 2017 Club Championship.
Ten varied compeitions are held over the season and the best six scores of each competitor are totalled. The highest aggregate wins the trophy. Very straightforward and fun to enter. The courses of fire are determined by Colin Oswald, who will sometimes need to have a club version, either caused by the constraints of the range, or to simplify a course to encourage newer or less able shooters.

Some members still attend and stand waiting for a firing point, but reluctant to partake in the competitions.
These are dedicated competition days and the times are clearly stated on the notices at the range.
The entry list today saw the usual suspects enjoying the challenges of the America Match (modified for 25 metres).
