This represented the final competition for the annual JSPC Club Champion, and the weather was kind to us though extremely cold at minus 3 degrees, but sunny for most of the morning at least.
Ten hardy members attended, (I do not know where the rest were hiding) and had a very competitive day, with Norman and Chris needing a “shootout” to decide the winner of the Centrefire competition, which Norman very closely won by ONE point.
This gave Norman a Gold Medal in both events and sealed his place as 2015 JSPC Club Champion.
Norman has only been with JSPC for a few years now but has blossomed in all competitions showing overall competence with each new firearm that he acquires. We count ourselves very fortunate to have such an accomplished shooter in the club, and I for one hope that some of that rubs off on me! He, Bill and Phil travel over 100 miles each way to join us on Sundays, and contribute greatly to us having some very enjoyable shooting days.
