Five JSPC members tackled the long journey to Bisley Shooting Centre to compete in the annual Army competition weekend; Ian Burton, Chris Douglas, Leslie Kong, Stuart Russell and Charles Whyte,
This is the message received from the organiser Daron:
Thank you all for entering and attending this year’s ATSC GR Open 2026. The competition simply wouldn’t run without your support and attendance, and we are very grateful to each and every one of you for making the effort to be there.
We hope everyone had a great weekend — it certainly ran well from our side and we were pleased with how smoothly things went.

Challenges are open until Friday at 2100hrs. After this time, results will be submitted as final and uploaded to the NRA’s master database. If you believe there is an error in your scores, please contact us before the deadline.
Awards
Medals will be issued post finalisation of results and posted to winning individuals at the address submitted during your entry. If your address has or does change in the coming weeks, please do let me know.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to seeing you all again next year. We always aim to run the Open on the first weekend after Easter, so it may fall a little earlier in April next year, subject to range approvals. We’ll be in touch with details once confirmed.
Thank you once again for your support.
Kind Regards,
Secretary ATSC TP Section
As usual, Chris had a very successful set of performances, and was well supported by the other members. Special mention to competition “rookie” Charles who had some very impressive results, as can be seen in the results tables.
